Fergus Black plays the Longman and Broderip fortepiano at Burghley House, as part of a keyboard demonstration day in 2008.
Fergus Black has a large and varied classical repertoire, that can be varied to include a few surprises! It is possible to reflect a theme or interest in the music chosen:-
- a more jazzy selection: Gershwin, Joplin,
- something Scottish (or any other nationality!)
- birthday variations - Happy Birthday To You, in the style of classical composers
- animal theme
- birds theme
He has a regular partnership with the flautist Kate Osborne,

Here seen at the Bourne Rotary Competition in January 2010, accompanying one of his students (who won!)
