Pianist

Fergus Black plays the Longman and Broderip fortepiano at Burghley House, as part of a keyboard demonstration day in 2008.
Choral Conductor
Fergus conducts the following groups in Stamford, both of which have ‘high art’ pretensions. None of them do ‘popular’. If you are interested in classical music and sing well, preferably good at sight-reading, and interested in exploring music, then please contact me or the group directly.
St Martin’s Singers
A women’s voices choir. Two or three concerts a year, on a small number of rehearsals.
Burghley Voices
Mixed Chamber Choir with a wide repertoire. Again, a limited number of rehearsals, four or five for each concert.
