Workshops
Because of his extensive experience with children’s choirs, Fergus is in demand to run children’s singing workshop. Most recently, in November 2008, he led a workshop for Year 6 Primary School Pupils from eight schools for Peterborough City Councils Rural Development Partnership.
In 2007, he directed the children’s choir for the Oundle International Festival production of Jonathan Dove’s Tobias and the Angel.
He has directed a number of workshops for children. In 1999 he directed a schools' project called Sing Out! and in 2001, conducted the massed choirs of the Spilsby Music Festival.
From 1998-2003, he was also a trustee and secretary of the East Midlands Choirs Charitable Trust, for which he organised training workshops.
