Choral Work with ChildrenWorkshopsBecause of his extensive experience with children’s choirs, Fergus is in demand to run children’s singing workshop. He has frequently led workshops for Primary School Pupils, for example in 2008 students from eight schools came together at Arthur Mellows Village College for Peterborough City Councils Rural Development Partnership.
He has directed the children’s choir for the Oundle International Festival production of Jonathan Dove’s
Tobias and the Angel, and conducted the massed choirs of the Spilsby Music Festival. From 1998-2003, he was also a trustee and secretary of the East Midlands Choirs Charitable Trust, for which he organised training workshops.
